THE REMAINING ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
PROCEDURES ARE ESSENTIALLY IDENTICAL
FOR EACH AIRCRAFT
19. The ground terminal may be secured on the aft
cabin wall equipment tie down bracket located
directly behind the tank (A separate equipment
ground lead has been provided for the unit).
20. Connect the power and ground cables to the
appropriate cannon plugs on the tank cradle.
21. Connect the control cable to the proper receptacle
on the tank cradle.
22. BEFORE the tank is filled with pesticide, turn on
the battery switch and:
a. Check the operation of the two indicator lights
on the control box.
b. Check the operation of the liquid flow control
valve, cycling it twice to ensure operation, and
leave it in the "OPEN" position.
c. MOMENTARILY operate the pump switch to
check for proper motor operation.
23. If the motor does not stop when the valve is
closed, or any other electrical function appears
incorrect. DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL THE
MALFUNCTION HAS BEEN CORRECTED.
