TESTING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

FOR ULV APPLICATIONS

A. Check the weather conditions expected during

the spray operations. REMEMBER, YOU

SHOULD NOT CONDUCT ULV OPERATIONS

IN THE RAIN OR IN STRONG WINDS.

B. Check for a temperature inversion. A

temperature inversion has occurred when the air

temperature at six feet above the ground is at

least one degree warmer than the ground
